This is my favorite spot. It was recently renovated. I've been coming here for years. The food is good. You walk in and can sit anywhere you want. They also have a take out window where you can pick what you want and take it to go. I like to sit down and eat though. The service is quick. I always order the baked chicken and yellow rice. The meal comes with beans and a salad. I also order sweet plantains. Once you're done, the server brings you your check and you pay up front at the register. The food is affordable. I really like this restaurant.

Stopped in for lunch based on other yelp reviews as I was in the neighborhood. Very spacious and clean seating areas. Staff behind the lunch buffet counter did not greet me but when I walked up I asked if I ordered there to sit down and eat. Staff was quickly responsive and directed me to sit where I like as a waitress would be with me soon. A very pleasant waitress attended to my drink and food order. She was attentive to me needing extra napkins and checking in to see how my meal was after I began eating. Ordered the chicken stew lunch special. The chicken had really good seasoning. The beans too. The rice didn't taste as fresh nor did the sweet plantains (reason for 4 stars). But the amount of food was plenty. The tamarind juice brought me back to my childhood in DR. Will be visiting again. Enjoyed my dining experience.

Their food is consistently good, even after all off these years. They always have a nice selection at great prices. My only complaint was the wait time for food to go. There was only one person and I waited probably 25 minutes to order. Otherwise highly recommend

I just have to say how good the food is here. I usually come here if I want to grab lunch and go or sometimes for dinner. The grilled chicken is so good. I order yellow rice and beans with a side of avocado. Sometimes I get the yuca (cassava) and banana with the onions. They just never disappoint me. I've have dined in here. They serve big plates of everything so there is plenty of food to take home. People are always nice and helpful.

I've known about this restaurant for some years now, I've heard good things about it and I've been real busy to take time to go but today was the day and it was great! The food, the service and the place as a whole was really nice. Family portion for sure! The drinks are yummy and the food very fresh. First time I see a restaurant have a deli/restaurant view without it looking very out of place. They did a good job. I recommend to take some time and eat here.

I haven't been here in so long and I haven't had authentic Dominican food since I moved. But this place hit the spot. We ordered a bunch of different meals online to pick up and take back home. The food... So good. I ordered the steak with onions and peppers. The steak was tender and no rough chewy pieces and the peppers and onions added an additional layer of flavor. Also the amount of food that you get is great, plenty for leftovers!

A friend told me about this restaurant since I was in the mood for Spanish food. The decor was very nice and modern. I ordered fried chicken chunks with rice and beans. I was extremely hungry when I ordered and hoped that the food was good when it arrived. The waitress was very nice and patient. My food was brought out to me and it looked great. The chicken was well seasoned and tasted delicious. I was pleased with my meal and I'm glad that we decided to visit this restaurant.

Haven't been here in a while and it was great! The waitress got everything correct and the food was delish for 4 adults and 4 kids. There isn't a kids menu, but they made what my son wanted which was 2 fried eggs over white rice. The older kids shared an order of chicharron de cerdo with white rice and habichuelas (red beans). We've never had sangria from here but glad we got the pitcher. Red sangria was yummy! I normally would get the rabo guisado (oxtail stew) or chicharron de cerdo (fried pork chunks), but had my god son and younger son with me who wanted steak so for the first time ordered the skirt steak cooked medium and was not disappointed. Mondongo (tripe) soup - on point Fried eggs Pernil - flavorful; cuerro was too chewy wish it was crunchy instead Tostones FYI 15% tip is automatically added to all checks
